Cookie Policy

Effective October 4, 2026 · Last updated October 4, 2026

The short version: safetysavvyco.com uses almost no cookies. We run no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no social-media pixels. The one exception is your browser’s built-in storage, which one page uses to remember your checklist progress on your own device.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They can remember preferences, keep you signed in, or measure how a site is used. Similar technologies — like your browser’s local storage — store small amounts of data on your device without sending it anywhere.

2. What We Use

TechnologyPurposeDetails
Strictly necessary (hosting)Security, load balancing, and reliable delivery of the Site. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may use technically necessary measures to serve the Site securely. These cannot be disabled without affecting the Site.
Functional storage (checklist)Remembering your progress on our printable safety checklist page. The safety checklist page saves which boxes you checked in your browser’s local storage, on your device only. It is never sent to us or anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes it.

3. What We Don’t Use

Plain and simple: this Site currently uses no analytics cookies, no advertising or targeting cookies, no social-media tracking pixels, and no cross-site behavioral tracking of any kind.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Policy first and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting them.

4. Third-Party Services

Some features hand you off to third parties, whose cookies are governed by their own policies — not ours:

5. Managing Your Preferences

You can control cookies and site data through your browser settings — usually under Privacy or Security — where you can block, delete, or allow them site by site. Because this Site sets essentially no cookies of its own, blocking them will not break anything except the checklist’s ability to remember your progress on your device.

To clear the saved checklist progress specifically, clear your browser’s site data for safetysavvyco.com.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy if our use of cookies changes. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes we’ll add a notice on the Site.
